About the Role
Job: Full Time Seasonal
Dates: January 3, 2025 thru March 24, 2025
Location: Florida. We are a traveling show and therefore, this is a traveling Position.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Manager to lead our front of house operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the performing arts, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our patrons. The Front of House Manager will oversee the front of house team, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee all front of house operations, including the garden, concession stands, ushers, and ticket takers.
- Ensure the theater is clean, well-maintained, and ready for performances.
- Implement and maintain front of house policies and procedures.
2. Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise front of house staff, including ushers, concession workers, and volunteers.
- Schedule staff shifts
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is provided by all front of house staff.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and courteously.
- Have a good understanding of our Box Office System to solve any ticketing issues with patrons who have already entered the venue
- Assist patrons with special needs or requests to ensure their comfort and enjoyment.
4. Misc
- Manage crowd control and ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons.
- train staff on emergency protocols.
- Monitor and address any safety concerns or hazards in the front of house area.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and special events.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance the patron experience and increase attendance.
-Understand and familiarize yourself with the box office system.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Theater Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus, but not necessary
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in front of house management or a similar role in a theater or live entertainment venue.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of theater operations and front of house best practices.
