About the Role
Requirements
Volunteer Usher / Ticket Scanner
Event Dates: February 26 – March 22, 2026
Estimated Commitment: Approximately 20–30 hours per week
Primary Duties
Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
Scan tickets using handheld devices
Direct guests to assigned seating
Monitor aisles and walkways for safety compliance
Assist with ADA seating accommodations
Help manage entry lines before the show
Remain attentive during the performance for late seating or guest needs
Assist with light post-show crowd flow and exit
Communicate any issues promptly to supervisor or management
Position Requirements
Availability & Commitment
Available between February 26 and March 22, 2026
Able to commit approximately 20–30 hours per week
Must arrive at designated call time
Must remain for the entire assigned shift
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-8 hours per shift)
Ability to navigate steps and uneven ground (tent or outdoor environment)
Skills & Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing personality
Strong customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions and remain calm under pressure
Comfortable using handheld ticket scanners or mobile devices
Clear communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-event environment
Professional Expectations
Maintain a neat, clean appearance
Follow assigned attire or dress code guidelines
No personal phone use while on duty (except as required for ticket scanning)
Maintain respectful and professional behavior at all times
Follow all safety and operational procedures
