Volunteer Usher / Ticket Scanner

Event Dates: February 26 – March 22, 2026

Estimated Commitment: Approximately 20–30 hours per week


Primary Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

  • Scan tickets using handheld devices

  • Direct guests to assigned seating

  • Monitor aisles and walkways for safety compliance

  • Assist with ADA seating accommodations

  • Help manage entry lines before the show

  • Remain attentive during the performance for late seating or guest needs

  • Assist with light post-show crowd flow and exit

  • Communicate any issues promptly to supervisor or management

Position Requirements

Availability & Commitment

  • Available between February 26 and March 22, 2026

  • Able to commit approximately 20–30 hours per week

  • Must arrive at designated call time

  • Must remain for the entire assigned shift

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-8 hours per shift)

  • Ability to navigate steps and uneven ground (tent or outdoor environment)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing personality

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and remain calm under pressure

  • Comfortable using handheld ticket scanners or mobile devices

  • Clear communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-event environment

Professional Expectations

  • Maintain a neat, clean appearance

  • Follow assigned attire or dress code guidelines

  • No personal phone use while on duty (except as required for ticket scanning)

  • Maintain respectful and professional behavior at all times

  • Follow all safety and operational procedures
